Davis Returns to Tennessee |
The Tennessee Titans are pleased to announce that they have brought GM Rob Davis back to the fold. Davis previously served as the Titans' GM from 2007-2008. Over that time he led the franchise to a 21-11 (0.656) record and two playoff appearances.
Davis left the Titans after the '08 season due to personal reasons, but returned to the USL a year later to serve as interim GM of the Kansas City Chiefs during the final week of the '09 season. When then current GM Tim Brown announced he was taking a new job with the Oakland Raiders, Titans' ownership immediately targeted Davis as their next general manager.
When asked for a comment, Davis simply said "I'm thrilled to be back here in Tennessee again. We've got a lot of work ahead of us with this upcoming off-season... a lot of research and a lot of scouting, but those are the things that you love about this job. I can't wait to get our squad back on the field next season." |
