Saints make history |
| After 7 seasons of humilty and being the WORST team in the league year in and year out, the Saints are a doormat no more! After a 18-14 win over the NFC North leading Bears the Saints have locked up not only their first playoff appearance ever but also have won their first division title. The Saints also have broken double digits in wins for the first time and are currently tied with the Giants for the top seed in the NFC. Reggie Bush finally returned after nearly 2 months in limited action and is expected to share the load with Ahman Green for the remainder of the regular season to avoid any other injuries. Also good news for the last 2 Saints opponents is Drew Brees is also having been reported as heading back to New Orleans early to also avoid any injuries and to give the young guns some time to show what they have. |

Saints regain momemtum in NFC South |
| After suffering a 2 game hangover, the Saints came out of their bye week running...literally as they overwhelmed the Falcons on the road 37-20 today. The Falcons obviously planned for a strong air attack with their top CB out of the game but the Saints pulled a rabbit from their hat and instead gave the ball to backup RB Deuce McAllister who ran in for 3 touchdowns who is filling in for current starter Reggie Bush. The Saints now own sole possession of 1st place in the division with 7 games to go. |
