Panthers suffer big injures Week 8 |

Chad & team looks over Matt Jones on the ground injured to then only suffer a season ending injury himself a few drives later..
After week eights huge win VS the New York Giants the Carolina Panthers came out of that game with more that just a win. They suffered two season ending injures to 2 of their stars on offense. Out for the year are QB Chad Henne and WR Matt Jones. Already with CB Aaron Ross out 8 weeks it seems like every year the Panthers suffer huge injures that affect their season every year, will this year be more of the same?
GM Mendez doesn't think so, "We have a lot of depth right now in many areas, we are a better team with Chad and Matt of course but will we tank the rest of the season because they are out. The answer to that will be NO. Coach Fox and the staff is working on controlling the ball more on offense and make sure that they get things done when they have the ball. Our Defense is really strong and you all know Defense wins championships. This year will be a test of the team’s heart and dedication to winning."
That being said this weeks game VS their division rivals New Orleans Saints will tell us how things pan out even with Drew Brees out the Saints have a ton of playmakers on the offensive side and cannot be counted out. What will the Panthers do.. well I know one thing for sure is that saints QB’s will be tested!!

Carolina's Defense Shut Down the Eli & Company

This was a must win for the Carolina Panthers after a suspect loss to the eagles last wk. GM Romeo Mendez had this to say "We won’t lose like that again!! The Panthers Defense was the topic of this weeks game which only allowed Eli and the Giants 3 points all game.
Chad Henne had control of the game throughout.
